QNL Quantum Rx Greens Mix is a clinically-proven, living, naturally and organically grown blend of the finest, pristine grasses and algaes from the best sources worldwide. Our spectacular, grade-10 (quantum-state) cereal grasses are from South America, grown in rich, luxuriantly healthy soil (with absolutely zero pesticides) in pure country air. The South American farm crews carefully harvest and low-temperature, air-dry these whole grasses.
Although grasses grown in the U.S. can deliver beneficial nutrients, QNL tests show that their toxic levels are far too high (due to pesticide/chemical residues). Unfortunately, negative effects from a bioaccumulation of these residues is usually seen later on, but the consumer rarely links them to the toxicity of the product.
Two major reasons that U.S. grasses are a problem: a) the water supplies contain high levels of pesticide residues and contaminants (even in organic farming) and b) the topsoils have sustained massive nutrient losses, even on organic farms, as well as being dosed with heavy pesticide residues from decades of chemicalized farming (residues which can remain long after a farm is converted to organic).

When it comes to blue-green algae, there are different grades. QNL uses wild-harvested blue-green algae that has been grown in fresh water, in open air and in sunlight. It has been low-temperature air-dried (not freeze dried, which breaks the delicate glycoside bonds). The source and the processing makes the difference as to whether an herb really works or not.

Another wonderful green with a spectacular reputation is chlorella. QNL uses Grade A Japanese chlorella, which is grown in ocean water in sunlight (not dark vats). It is carefully processed using a cell process which preserves the nutrients and makes them much more assimilable. Cheaper grades of Chlorella do not process the cell wall, making the chlorella very difficult if not impossible to absorb.
